Our Mission

“A place where every resident and respite guest is empowered to live a life of their own choosing — supported with compassionate care, dignity, privacy, and the respect every individual deserves within a place they can truly call home.”

About Us

Founded in 2025 by Sushil Roopani, Owner and CEO, RoopeX Living was established after recognizing the need for more high-quality, supportive residential options for adults with developmental disabilities.

As a values-driven residential support organization, our commitment is to provide safe, inclusive, and person-centred living environments that promote dignity, independence, and quality of life while responding to the growing needs of individuals across Simcoe County.

Our Care Protocol

The Six Core Service Principles

We operate within a strict, person-centred framework that ensures safety, well-being, and personal growth are consistently embedded in everyday life.

1. Dignity & Respect

Every resident is supported to live on their own terms. We support choices that preserve identity, culture, and personal preference, addressing everyone by the name they prefer.

2. Individualized Support

Support is built explicitly around the resident’s unique goals and needs rather than the convenience of the home. The individual care plan remains the centerpiece of their experience.

3. Safety Without Restriction

We maintain a safe, clean, and highly structured environment. Safety measures are non-intrusive, prioritizing positive, proactive support over restrictive practices.

4. Family & Community

A resident's relationships with family and friends are protected and actively supported. The home connects each person to vital local resources and social networks in Simcoe County.

5. Honesty & Accountability

We preserve trust by maintaining accurate records, reporting proactively, and examining mistakes honestly so we can continuously refine and improve our care delivery.

6. Compliance as a Floor

We comfortably meet all strict criteria for O. Reg. 299/10, MCCSS directives, and PHIPA guidelines. Meeting the bare minimum standard is merely where our commitment begins.
